Here's an early heads-up: You've got two chances to see the African-American Author Showcase this weekend. On Saturday, it's from 2 to 4 p.m. at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young St. On Sunday, it's from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Ruthe Jackson Center, 3113 S. Carrier Parkway. And that showcase would include: Valerie L.
