This sounds like a fascinating way to begin Valentine's Week: Wordspace is presenting "Love & Renunciation," an evening with poet Andrew Schelling, Wordspace says: "An award-winning poet, Andrew Schelling is an amateur naturalist, mountaineer, and translator of India's classical poetry who lives in Boulder, Colorado, along the front range of the Southern Rocky Mountains. He will read a selection of erotic poems from ancient India." The event is free for JADE members / $15 for nonmembers. (JADE (Junior Associates Discover the East) is an alliance of individuals in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who share an interest in Asian art and culture.) Reservations are required. Click here. |
