Speaking of lack of knowledge of the classics ... the Times of London says Woolworths has withdrawn bedroom furniture for young girls that was branded with the name "Lolita." They had to go to Wikipedia to understand why it might not be appropriate for a little girl. So, at least they're reading something now. (Thanks to Shelf Awareness for the spot.) |
