You can hear more of this wonderful poet during the Dallas Poets Community sponsored Open Mic, "First Friday of the month" readings at Half Price Books on Northwest Hwy. 7:00pm in the Community Room.

Her chapbook is available through Main Street Rag Press. a wonderful meditation on growing up in the Chesapeake Bay area as well as a fond look at what family used to be in our country.

No one uses language more exquisitely or delicately than Ann Howells. All her poetry resonates with poignancy and imagination.

Ann Howells weaves her simple words into a fine tapestry which, like a great painting, may be revisited many times over for new insights. It is always a pleasure to indulge in her artistry.
