As the state's librarians convene in Dallas, the Texas Book Festival today is announcing that it is awarding more than $200,000 in grants this year to 72 public libraries. The festival has awarded more than $2 million in library grants since 1996. In a state that traditionally has struggled to properly support its libraries, every little bit helps. UPDATE: Here's a look at the local libraries that will benefit.
