Stephenie Meyer's books are not appealing solely due to their plot, but its her style of writing that is so captivating. The ability to pull readers of all ages into the story and form such a deep connection with the characters is just astounding. She is also very appealing as a person, I don't believe I've ever met anyone so down to earth, so real as she is.
I really wish people would stop referring to Stephenie Meyer's fan base as teenage girls. I have read the Twilight series several times and I am 31. I am NOT alone. There is a whole site dedicated to fans over the age of 25 (www.twilightmoms.com) with thousands of members. There are also many guys who read the series (www.twilightguy.com). I just wanted to let the you know that Stephenie Meyer's book are written for and loved by all ages and genders.
