|  E-mail entryThe entry "'The Devil Wears Prada' author tonight" has no entry tags. First of what I'm sure will be a series of "things I ran out of time to write when I was still in Los Angeles." The expo seemed light on significant nonfiction titles. I heard secondhand that some publishers are afraid of competing with the election season, but I did not confirm that myself. What I did see is that this we are in for a glut of Abraham Lincoln books, ahead of his bicentennial next year. Not that there is ever a shortage of Lincoln books - allegedly he is the most-written-about American, and the third-most written-about-human, behind Napoleon and Jesus.
