The folks at the University of North Texas' Mayborn Institute have just launched their own magazine. In the online version, you'll find an essay on the unromance of the writerly life by Bob Shacochis, and an interview with N. Scott Momaday, If you can get your hands on a print edition (details coming soon on how that might happen,) you'll also find Dallas author/agent Jim Donovan's formula for literary success (he must be better at algebra than I am) and even a profile of regular Texas Pages contributor Bill Marvel, among other delights. |
