A former journalism instructor and freelance writer, Betsy is the copy editor and page designer for the Community Opinions pages and the Letters. She is married to Metro reporter Joe Simnacher. They have two sons. 
Christopher Wynn is the home and dining editor for FD Luxe. He was previously assistant editor at PaperCity Magazine. Covering sexy restaurants and snooping through the city's most tricked-out homes has been a full-time obsession for more than five years. Michael grew up in the Pleasant Grove section of Dallas, where he graduated from Samuell High School. He moved on to Southern Methodist University, where he became editor of The SMU Daily Campus. He served his journalistic internship at the Washington Post during "the Watergate summer" of 1973 and graduated from SMU in 1974. He then became sports editor of the Anchorage Times, which he left in 1976 to return to Dallas, where he became a Sunday magazine feature writer for the Morning News. He left in 1978 to join the Los Angeles Times, where he worked for 19 years before returning to his hometown and to the Morning News in 1997.

Nancy Churnin has specialized in kids entertainment and family issues for the Dallas Morning News for 10 years. A former television writer, magazine writer and award-wining theater critic with the Los Angeles Times, she graduated cum laude from Harvard University and has a master's in journalism from Columbia University. She is married to Dallas Morning News staff writer Michael Granberry and has four boys who keep her happily immersed in the world of kids and teens. 
Oscar is the managing editor of neighborsgo, the weekly user-generated community newspaper published by The Dallas Morning News. He's been at The News for 16 years - 8 as a print editor at The News and 8 as an online editor at dallasnews.com and neighborsgo.com. And he can't wait to see what the next 8 years bring. 
Sam Hodges worked for several newspapers before joining The Dallas Morning News as a religion reporter in 2005. He's the author of the novel "B-Four" (St. Martin's Press, 1992) and co-editor of the nonfiction book "Letters to Amanda: the Civil War letters of Marion Hill Fitzpatrick" (Mercer University Press, 1998). |
